Welcome to the Batavia Township Democrats!
We are the local Democratic voice for precincts in both Batavia and North Aurora—committed, organized, and ready to build a more just and inclusive community for all of us. From school board meetings to county elections, we believe that democracy starts at the block level and grows from there.
Grounded in democratic values and inspired by the legacy of Congressman John Lewis and his call to make “Good Trouble,” we advocate for policies and leaders who put people first—on issues ranging from public education and workers’ rights to reproductive freedom, racial justice, climate action, and affordable healthcare. We are committed to defending the rights of citizens by preserving the independence and balance of all three branches of government, as outlined in the U.S. Constitution.
We’re more than a political organization. We’re a growing, grassroots coalition of neighbors, volunteers, activists, and elected officials who know that when we show up—whether to vote, to knock doors, or to speak truth to power—we make change happen.
Ready to get involved? Let’s do the work, together.
