Kane County Primary Election Early Voting Begins

Early voting for the March 17, 2026 Primary Election begins February 5 at the Kane County Clerk’s offices in Geneva and Aurora. Voters will cast ballots for federal, state and local races, as well as referenda questions. The final day to register to vote to be able to participate in the Primary is Tuesday, February 17, 2026. Visit the Kane County Clerk’s site for full details on locations and hours.
*Note: If you plan to vote by mail, please be aware that USPS postmark rules have changed. Postmarks were previously aligned with the date you drop off your ballot. Effective December 2025, the postmark date will be the date the piece of mail is processed by an automated machine (which could be days after you drop it off). Please plan ahead!
